The IUOE has about 400,000 members in 123 Locals in all 50 US states and Canada. Our members work as heavy equipment operators, mechanics and surveyors in the construction industry, as stationary engineers in refineries and high rises, as civilian contractors on military bases, and even as health care professionals.

Founded in 1896, our union is the 10th largest in the AFL-CIO.  We have over 100 training and apprenticeship programs that help make our members the best and safest in the industry.   For more information, click over to www.iuoe.org.
